better movie is LOTOR here's how I brake it down
acting:equal
effects:equalish maybe lotor
plot:hard to say sith lords has a good plot to it, but so does lotor.
Feeling:LOTOR draws you in more I find
sets:Lotor
music amn hard to say like the classic sw but lord of the rings had a pretty kick ass sound track.
coolness: new trilogy star wars, Lotor equal if compared to starwars in general.
In the end it comes down to opinion.

There like the same, but different at the same time. There can be no winner. (may I say i'm very happy that some jerks haven't been flamin' LOTR and have been fair minded, well done; have a cheap japanese car with fluffy dice on the windscreen!)

Well...for the films...I like them both very much. They are different also there are some parallels between them. They can't be compared.
I would like to see the outcome of a "all of SW vs all of LotR" thread.
