This is going to be a who can build the best stuff out of garbage match.
Both teams have a week of prep and a week of assembling their items. Oh, if you ask why John, he's an architect by nature so he can help Bats with structures and designs. After the week they have to display their items at a science convention in Brussels, and will be judged by other scientist.
