I own the first one. (Though it rapes my brand new computer.. Damn you Lucas..) And though I pride myself in the dark, I seem to ALWAYS get lightside! I'm not talking compassionate anti-hero here, I'm talking having the same level of light to my aura as Carth here! Infact, we're both soldiers and because I'm stupid I'm still stuck on the ghetto planet. He does guns, I wield a vibrosword, and now I'm desperately trying to find Mission, which will not only help us probably get off of this slum planet, but maybe into her pants. I was hoever dissapointed to find out from my resources that I HAVE to become a jedi. What crap man..
I only played the second one breifly, but again, I noticed an unsetteling pattern of becoming uber light. And to tell you I suck at puzzle solving or leadership, I just hack N slash! Infact, whilst fighting the billion and one droids, I forgot I even HAD The Force. (My powers learnt so far were stun droid and shout.) I just ran at the droids and wailed on them, considering most sucked at close combat it wasn't TOO difficult to defeat them. Though Adam had to keep reminding me to make better use of stun droid.. I never liked robots.. EVER..
So what about you? Were you suprised at what side of The Force called out to you? Or did you have a hunch the turn of events would happen as they did?
Shadows of the Empire for N64 was better. Sure it had no plot, but the action was keen and there wasn't five zillion jedi when wielding The Force is supposed to be HARD..
Yeah, I had to try to be Dark staying light was easier because I didn't want to disapoint those bastards that were fighting alongside of me, really strange..
My character's tend to inflate like Sally Struthers, so i.e. I'm evil.

I downloaded the "Slay the council mod", i think that says it all. I always play on the dark side, and when i try to play it on light, something in me hesitates to co-operate...
Hm, for some reason I always feel bad doing dark things. . . although when I'm pissed off it really helps to go back to the part in KOTOR II on Telos when you, as a dark sider, get to kill that poor Duros merchant. . . That's what I call kicks.
