Right click on any empty space on your
Desktop, Go to "Properties" the last tab on the right, On
the left side there should be a scroll, play
with that.

Looks normal to me...but as Koala said, reset your Resolution. You must have it on 800 x 600 .
I have mine as large as possible.

No, I meant that's probably what her resolution is supposed to be set at. Her screen caps are small on my screen as it is.
I have mine set on 1280 x 1024, I can fit much more on screen.

I have a 17" Screen, 1024 x 768 is perfect, You have Space, And Its not too Small.
Anyways, 15" Screens are amde for 800 x 600,
17" 1024 x 768 And so on So forth.
Anyways I don't fill up my Desktop with a lot fo icons, I have 4 Icons, MAX 6 when a game is installed and thats perfect.
My "Program List" in the start menu is only a single page with no Scrolls.
My Quick Launch Bar on the other hand....

I've got a 17" widescreen monitor and the default setting for it is 1280x800.
I like it, it's an odd resolution, but it's nice and big...plus when I'm working on something in Photoshop that 2000x3000px I don't have to zoom out so much
