is this the books on the owl, where it gets taken away, and then gets fed a piece of rat? i think i read a sample chapter when i was in forth grade. id like to know more about it

I love these books! I've read all of them. I think Kathrine Lasky did a really amazing job on this series. I'm glad someone started a thread on it... Now only for the Warriors series by Erin Hunter....
