There was this girl that two guys grabbed and stabbed her I think twelve times. Only she lived. The two guys were Marines who were staying at the D.L.I. (Defense Language Institute) in Monterey, California. I shot the court case in Salinas County. It was the most powerful moment in news that I ever dealt with. I watched her confront her two killers in the court of law. She basically said to her killers, "I bet you didn't expect to see me here." Then she showed them her scars and I watched them stare with blank ashamed faces as she tore them new a**holes. It was one of the most interesting and powerful moments of my life.

I know a guy who used to live with me, that just got arrested for child pornography.
If I knew he was into that I would have cut his esophagus as soon as I found out. I'm glad he's 400 miles away, otherwise I'd be the one sitting in jail, while he was laying in a coroner's office.
