Not that I'm taking a side one way or the other, but I just thought it importnat to point out how many parents have been defeated by their siblings.

Darkseid defeated his, Zeus defeated his, and I'm sure there's other examples. So just because a parent squares off against an offspring, doesn't mean that the offspring is the one that's gonna get beat.
