in hand to hand no weapons Deadpool would woop Gambit, Gambit relies mainly on his pole and cards Deadpool however is very athletic and could defeat Gambit fairly easy.

It could go either way. Deadpool has been taken down by people with less firepower than Gambit. On the other hand, Deadpool has the physical ability to beat Gambit as well.
