Here's kind of a cool idea for a thread

Give a small review of a comic that recent came out.

Give a small explanation of the plot

Tell the pros and cons of the issue

And finally give it a letter grade, such as B+ or somthing like that.

Example:

Civil War #1

Plot: Tradgedy occurs as the hero community is ripped in half by the superhero registration act

Pros:

-Great Art

-Great Writing

Cons:

-To linear?!?

Overall Rating: A

Action Comics #843

Synopsis: The heroes rally to try and drive the Auctioneer and his associates from the planet...

Pros:

Busiek seems to be more at home with Action than he is with Superman, excellent issue in an arc that got better and better up till this, its final issue, where it hit a crescendo...

Woods' art seems to get better and better with each comic without changing much if at all...

Cons:

If you don't like superman, you won't like it...

Marvel Zombies:

Plot:
-An infection (from Sentry) has caused almost all of earth heros to become transformed into flesh eating zombies....... There is only a small band of unchanged heros to try an fight the zombies, but this is a feutal effort

Pros:
-Very well illustrated
-Simple plot line, but good none the less
-Thought it was great when they obtained the power cosmic

Cons:
-Not many twists and turns
-Didn't want it to end as quickly as it did
