Goku already has antural super strength, speed, all that jazz. Rock Lee had to WORK to achieve all of his skills. He worked for entire days without stopping, unlike Goku who tends to take "breaks" to go eat.
Also, even when Rock Lee broke like all the bones in his body he was still trying to train, even though he was in a cast and and could never become a Ninja again.

Krillin also slacked off on most of his training in the DB cartoons, and happens to be a LOT weaker then Goku. Even if he did the training, his wasn't NEARLY as effective as Goku's was.

u really cant see who works harder..i mean yea lee spends more time in it..that dont mean he is really working harder. i can go outside and run a mile for instance. but i might not get faster in the mile if i just slack off..however someone else might run half a mile as fast as he can, and he would get better and better cuz he is actually working harder...from the shows i dont think u can really tell. like i said earlier, lee wants it more i believe. but u cant say that lee works harder

Goku, he hardly ever stops training, plus Gokus not even human allowing him to do more. I remember him training in 100 times gravity and he was hitting himself with his own Kamahameha. Goku also hardly ever takes off his weighted training clothes even in serious battles. Although if Rock was a Saiyan he'd be able to pull off the same too.

you also have to say which point in Goku's life span. If you take goku when he was a little kid and rock lee as a full adult then rock lee might have a chance. But full power Goku can pretty much beat anyone.
