Heroine-addict trapped in a chair which holds one of his wrists in a metal contraption. He's left without dope for a few days and having a really bad time. Just in reach of his free arm are 2 buttons; one will make a mechanised system give him a shot, the other button will make a similar setup drip acid on the metal that holds his other arm.
The only way out alive is to press the acid button enough times, melting away the lock but also his hand.
Will he choose to overdose right away, or to do nothing and starve, or will he dare to take a shot at freedom despite the cost? And if so, will he be wise enough to balance the drugs with the acid torture to make his escape a bit more... manageable?
a man who complains abot being overweight and how depressed he is who doesnt actually care(he only wants attention) is forced to eat 10 plates filled with different rotten meats and vegetables. One of these foods is covered with a chemical that will kill the (some carnivorous bug here) that is slowly eating away his stomach. He has four minutes(before, as jigsaw calculated, the bug eats through his stomach and he dies of internal bleeding.(oh, and he needs to eat at least half of the plate with the chemical in order for it to actually work)
misc. additions: maybe more than one bug, or a second part to the test for him to get out of the room?
Damn... that's pretty good! For just a single person anyway, Jigsaw had such a handle on the human condition that he could manufacture traps that involved several people, such as with the 1st Saw that had two main characters trapped by Zeb not Jigsaw... Pretty damn goood planning if you ask me... I'm going to have think hard about this one, I want to come up with a good one that involves several people... Such as 2 and 3... I know 3 does, but I haven't seen it yet

Nice touch with the flesh-eating bugs there AOYS. Good point by Vim too, combining and entangling multiple victims in a game is the real challenge.
Plotting on a good one about that as well. For now, a idea based on a real medieval torture;
2 lovers who poisoned granny to collect the inheritance find themselves trapped. The man is chained down, and with a cage full of starving rats on his head. There is a door in this cage that separates his face from the rats, but it is set on a 5 minute timer, after that the rats will get to his head for some appetite for destruction.
His lover is more fortunate, perhaps. All she has to to is dig trough a barrel of burning coals (with here bare hands) to find the switch that will keep the door closed, and her lover's face intact.

We start with four very different people waking up in the middle of the desert, they each have these metal contraptions locked around their heads and necks that block their peripheal vision. The first person has a chain coming from the back of his contraption and connecting to the next person and so on so that the last person has one chain connecting to his front. Okay their hands are locked together by smaller contraption.
Now, these four people are linked together in some way or another. They have to learn to work together to survive, food, water and such. Now their positioning in the desert is also key, as they placed so they have no alternative but to head toward a nearby forested area, several miles away. Now here's another part of the trap, the people that trapped them were put into a trap as well, they are in a bunker in the forest and they have to keep track of the four people. They have to keep them "surviving" for at least four days for the "experiment" to be complete.
However things turn bad when the four people find the bunker, and its actually empty. The people that were in the bunker left to go get some more food, they left one guy who went off to heavily shrubbed area to go piss or crap or whatever, the point is he didn't see them go into the bunker. These four people find where they had been making the exact same metal contraptions that around these four people's heads and necks, and the wrist/handcuff things and some chain. So this one guy comes in all relaxed like nothing's wrong and is attacked by these four people, he had a gun, but he was overwhelmed. They don't kill him instead they fix up a contraption on this guy where his hands are locked to the side of the metal contraption, pretty sick huh?
Anyway, these four decide they'd better leave before more people show up perhaps with guns and such. Unfortunately the people do start coming in, but the four people are all about survival now, there's big firefight, one of the original four is killed, another is shot, but the three remaining take down the "mercenary" type guys. Okay, now the people have a choice to cut the dead fourth guys head off, pretty much the only way the thing is going to come off with some kind of metal saw or powerful cutters that can cut through metal. So they cut the dead guy's head off and leave the bunker. The thing is they've been under surveillance this whole time. They are now dragging or carrying the bloody metal contraption, a kind of reminder. So the three remaining make their way through the forest as more of these gun toting guys show up. So basically they're being hunted, but remember the hunters are in a "trap" of their own.
Of course its already screwed since one of the four are dead, but the problem comes in that if they let the three remaining live and find their way to civilization they'll be in even more trouble. They'll have the police after them and the main guy who started the whole thing press a button to release a deadly chemical that he surgically planted into them. The three chained together don't realize that if they live, they'll have to find a way out of the contraptions and still be on the run.... Will this game ever end??? Find out I've got some more coming this is just a premise, a rough draft if you will...

Interesting concept. Try to give some more thought on the 'why' instead of the 'how' while working on the details and you could make this a nice short horror. I suggest you drop the poison threath aspect at the end, try something else!
Yeah your right about the poison thing... ITs been done to death... LITERALLY!! HAHAHAHAHAA!! .. whoo .. Okay soo lets go back up to where they are leaving bunker. Sorry forgot about the injured guy he was shot in the side and is slowly bleeding to death. Okay I've decided to go back interject a few more details on the people:
Dr. Brown – A 42 year old professor with two daughters and a cheating wife. He knows a bit about survival, and is definitely the most motivated to live. Sorta declares himself the leader, barking orders, which Jamen doesn't take very well to.
Mark – a 22 year old who’s majoring in Visual Communication. He’s not anywhere near being a survivor, in fact he doesn’t know anything about surviving, other than making to class on time and getting his art projects in on time. He knew about Jamen cheating with Dr. Brown's wife, but doesn't matter he is killed at the Bunker.
Jamen – a 35 yr old convict who knows his way around the hard streets. He’s the best survivor. However he doesn’t want to help anybody, he’s in to get himself out and that’s it. What he doesn’t realize is that he’s going to have to get the others to cooperate if he has any chance in getting out alive. Also Dr. Brown's wife cheated on him with Jamen.
Carlos – a Mexican who got into the states with an illegal green card, but has a legal driver’s license. Is a very intelligent person, lots of books smarts, pretty good street smarts too. However has a hard time speaking English, but can understand it very good. He tries to explain himself in Spanish, which most of it the other guys can’t really understand. If he stops and speaks slowly enough in English he can get across what he’s trying to say.
Again this is a rough draft, and in another I may include women, but we know how complicated they can make things... I'm working on where to go from the bunker... Any suggestions??

How about including items that can release of of the victims from the trap, setting that person free (but still not out of the game, and just as far from the truth or home as he was, that person is merely free of the chains). While those same items can be a benefit for all of them as long as they remain chained together. For example a key that will only unlock one set of chains, while it has a functional compass in it that works as long as no chains are unlocked.
Oh yeah that's pretty good... Hmmmm... Maybe some kind of thing that will cut through the chains, but would also make a useful Killing tool for killing animals to eat... But if one were to try and cut through their chains with it, after it cut through one chain, then they try cutting through another, it would break! I don't know that doesn't make much sense. maybe they find a chainsaw, a skill saw and a whole bunch of Saws, because it's SAW 4!! ... "This time there are no rules..." Then the clown laughs... I think if they were to have another one, they should go this direction because being confined to a house or building is scary, but then you put them in wide open and yet they still can't seem to get out their predicament. The whole ends up being these Rich, powerful people paying to watch these people to see if they will survive and they bet on them and stuff oh man that's sick! LOL! Jigsaw is doing it to keep paying for treatment of his cancer, and we find out that these rich folk were wanting something more exciting. So they helped get the people to the desert like area. I don't know! I'm start to like this idea more and more..

man inside a giant glass cage (somewhat like the one in the prestige) wearing a metal collar which is attatched to the sides of the cage by chains (4 of them, one to each corner)
anyway, tv turns on, guy is an aquitted murderer(like oj), and like he drowned the little girl (the one he killed), he will have to try and save himself from the same fate, only literally.
The only way for him to be saved is if the little girl's brother can get him out.
The twist: The brother became a druggie after the man was aquitted, and ruined his life. He doesn't appreciate that he is alive and still has potential to do great things. He too is in a trap. He has his arms chained up to a machine that is slowly stretching them (as are his legs) and the only way for him to get out is to get the man out. He has 4 minutes until his limbs are ripped off. To do this, he must pull in the opposite direction with his already stretching body to a button, 1.5 feet away. When he presses this button, a hammer like thing will break the glass, freeing the other man. Now the only way for the other man to get out of the neck chain thing is to free the brother. His incentive: the chain has been shocking him every 10 seconds, with a more painful and hazardous shock each time.
The only way for him to get the brother out is to stick his hand into the glass, razor and salt filled hole which he must push on the weight to deactivate the stretchy thing. Then, he can grab the key which will fall off the machine thing after the brother is saved.
This all must be done in four minutes. Idk if it's too complicated?
At first reading I thought "meh" ... Too easy, but I went through it a couple of more time in my head working out the details, and well the time limit! Jeezz.... They couldn't even figure out what they are supposed to do in that amount of time, you'd have to give them what? At least an hour huh? That way you can get some background in there as they interact between one another trying to get out! This one is pretty damn good, but again, its confined... That's always scary. I was trying to go in a new direction of the open, and yet they are still "trapped" and "controlled" in which way they have to go. Then there's so many things happening behind the scenes pressures from others unseen. But still very well thought out and intricate once you really understand the details and backstory of whats happening!
