Dear OTF,

Shane has leukaemia and is 7 years old. He will be turning 8 on May 30th. In all likelihood, Shane will not see his 9th birthday. Shane is trying to get in the Guinness World Book of Records by receiving the most birthday cards ever. His parents do not want to receive any cards after May 30th. He is now receiving, and opening, about 2000 cards per day from friends all over the world.

I don't expect everyone to do this obviously, and more than likely a lot of you will make some joke about it or ignorant remark, but whatever, every card helps so if even one more comes out of this it's worth posting. smile
