TiVo-tastic
Just bought one of these babies and I'm very pleased with it!
For those who don't know, a TiVo is a digital recorder. Bascially learns your likes and dislikes and automatically records programs for you! (Lots of Simpsons for me then!  )
Are you a gadget freak? Whats the best thing you've got, or wanna get?

Tivo is pretty old.
It came out like 5 years ago.
Frankly not too many good programs on TV to warrant getting Tivo.

Its pretty new here, and the prices have become more reasonable. When it was released it was a whopping £400 (~$600).

Way too much.
Way back in the 90s they used to have these TiVo infomercials on all the time, and they we're selling for $300.
Now you can get them for $199.
That's cause a bunch of companies make them now.
It used to be that only TiVo made the devices, but now you can get them from Microsoft, Panasonic, Phillips, Sony, and RePlay-TV.
Infact Microsoft is planning on putting a digital video recorder in XBOX2.
