Without ranged weaponry, Punisher cannot hope to defeat someone with the H2H capability of WildCat. The 'old boxer' (more to him than that) is in the JLA for a reason, and it is not because of his whiskers. The guy is a pugilist Batman, but without the brains (Actually, if the JLA has Batman, the JSA has Mr Terrific and Wildcat; with Mr Terrific having being the brain-analogue for Batman, and Wildcat being the fighting-analogue for Batman).

People who are saying 'Punisher wins' must have only read the Wiki entry for Wildcat, because if they had read the portrayals of Wildcat, and those of the Punisher, they would have realized that while the Punisher is a superb hand to hand combatant, he would have NO chance against someone like Wildcat.

But it seems most people here either rely on biases, and wikipedia entries.

Without ranged weapons for Punisher, Wildcat wins this ....everytime.

I added the sword and knife as a joke, people actually think it makes a difference. Wildcat even taught Batman, he's easily one of the more accomplished martial artists in the DC verse. A lot of people seem to be under the impression that if you're not capable of taking on Lady Shiva or Cassandra Cain, you wouldn't take out the Punisher in hand to hand combat.

Wildcat even beat a couple of Sinestro Corps members smile
