gay came i nfifth in his semifinals and didnt qualify for the final, asafa powelll came in 5th and didnt medal, walter dix pulled through and came in 3rd, usain bolt cruised so break the world record and win the 100

He didn't brake it because when Bolt ran the 100 qualifying rounds they said he still holds the record and the showed the 3 fastest men and Gay had the slowest time

Tyson Gay didn't even make the final...and Bolt broke the 9.7 mark at 9.68...despite slowing up and finishing upright at the end...if he really went for it he would maybe even break the 9.6 mark
you know the man has serious talent when he broke the world record on only his 2nd ever 100m run at an event earlier this year
