fight takes place in NYC park late at night after a fresh thunderstorm and downfall..

Hunter in Darkness has killed a would be mugger.. the victim runs from the park screaming..

Cassandra Cain hears her scream and runs in to investigate..

she hears a Howl and is on alert trying to find the cause but whatever it is it moves to fast in the darkness the shadows seem to move... she hears bushes rustling and a growl.....

she finally sees her enemy's eyes glowing in the darkness and sees it bearing its teeth..

Batgirl tenses for an attack... the hunter in darkness sees her muscles tensing and his animal body ready and instincts tells him she is going to attack and prepares for battle seeing her as not just prey or victim but a predator.

predator is something she does not want to be when facing the hunter in darkness..
