What always happens when AM fights a much smarter foe. He does well at first, but then he gets outsmarted and yadda yadda.
Also- Touching the lasso may be dangerous to him. If he absorbed it's properties, it'd destroy every delusion he has about himself in one go. The mental shock'd probably put him into a coma.

I almost don't care about who he is fighting; I'm that confident in Creel's ability to find a way to lose.

Creel loses to Captain America and Ms/Captain Marvel. In fact, he got STOMPED by them and they treated him like a joke.
Unless he gets a particular power boost, he gets stomped pretty handily.

Wonder Woman will almost always go into melee first, and that puts Creel in position to absorb her bracers. Or if he absorbs the lasso, the chance it will effect him negatively is inconclusive since he's absorbed a Cosmic Cube with no ill effect.
He more than likely loses a large majority because he's Creel, but the potential to win is there. If he was only a tad bit smarter.
