So, Kitty Pryde* exists in the real world, possessing her intellect and an ability to send her consciousness back in time 24 hours. Would this alone be enough to take over the (real) world? Would reliving each day ten thousand times for a year (totaling 10k years real time) give her such an unfair advantage that it'd be like us stepping on a bug, or is this an overstatement of how powerful she potentially could be? For example, it's obvious that if an expert in technology from 10,000 years in the future was sent back to today, they'd be able to wreck the world, purely by being able to build future tech. Could Kitty Pryde do the same since she could sort of be "ten thousand years" in the future if she chose to be?
* Fwiw, this isn't specific to Kitty Pryde, but she fits the prerequisites of the hypothetical pretty well, i.e. she's intelligent and can relive her immediate past, ala' Phil Connors in Groundhog Day or Bill Cage in Edge of Tomorrow.

I'm not entirely sure; I was extrapolating from the DOFP movie, and was just using her as an example character anyway.
For this hypothetical, we'll go with 'no', just so we can concentrated on the groundhog day effect by itself.
I've gone back and forth quite a few times. It's difficult to determine exactly how much teamwork and how much of a cumulative effect is needed to make great advances in something like technology. My guess would be quite a lot, but I'm not sure how much this ability would counter that fact.

Going by the awesome Bill Murray movie, where he learned piano, all she needs is time to just advance steadily in whatever she chooses to do.
All he had control overcwere the events in one town. She has the world. Pretty potent!
I agree, the power is quite, err, powerful. With that said, there's a pretty huge difference between learning the piano using this ability and something like building a robot that will take over the world. With the former, you just have to sit in a room, repeating the same day over and over again until you mastered the task. With the latter, however, some stuff must accumulate for it to work—writing the code for the artificial intelligence, for instance. It's going to take a lot of "real" time to complete the task, time which can't be "repeated" time, so the groundhog day power will be less useful here.
