I'd go with Malgus.

I believe the DA could give Malgus a decent fight. If Starkiller is anything to go by, he would fight similarly to Aryn Leneer's showing against Malgus (dual sabers and very aggressive). I think DA is more powerful than Leneer in the Force (not sure about Malgus), so this fight could be very interesting...
Malgus is likely more powerful in the force. He's blown away piles of rubble that weighed tons with a gesture, shattered a pillar with a force scream, smacked away ship parts weighing tons, killed multiple Jedi with lightning, kicked a Jedi master and sent him crashing through stone, etc. Dark Apprentice's feats are mixed imo

Well, Starkiller enveloped himself in the Force and survived re-entry to Kamino, riding on top of the Salvation. He also used the Force to hold the ship together and keep it on track. He dueled Vader to a standstill and his lightning was potent enough to override the insulation in Vader's suit, which was added specifically to prevent that situation. I know Starkiller isn't DA, but since DA is the true perfect clone of Marek, it stands to reason he would be the most powerful version (seeing as how Vader told DA he was far more powerful than Marek had ever been, and he never said that to Starkiller).

Even assuming Dark Apprentice>Starkiller=Vader, ROTJ Vader is far more powerful than TFU Vader, and Malgus would be a good fight for prime Vader.

You're probably right there.

I don't think he was close to being prime Vader at that point IMO. Malgus more powerful than post-RODV and Purge Vader by a bit, and shouldn't be too far/even from Vader as of ANH. The Vader Starkiller isn't as strong as he would be by ROTJ, in which most of Vader's feats are superior to Malgus's. At this point Malgus should be more than enough to take down the clone in a good fight.

That is exactly what I was saying...

That part of him got replaced. Leia told me. I think that's why Han solo wants to kill him
