However, I'd say she had the greater innate talent of the two (Kenobi was something of a late-bloomer as Jedi go), and she wasn't far from Knight ready either IMO. Also, she has war experience.
Age, experience, rank - essentially irrelevant in comparison to feats. I don't get why people still use these things to assess characters combat abilities opposed to simply comparing what they have and objectively can accomplish.
Kenobi has better dueling feats.

Kenobi murders the little brat. A padawan who kept up with Maul and even offbalanced him and caught him by suprise versus a padawan who only defeated Battle Droids and Barriss Offee, yeah it is obvious.
