I liked Anchorman because it was the first time he really did that type of humor (at least on the big screen) so it was new and fresh, etc. After that he sort of milked the Ron Burgundy attitude. With that being said, I still like Anchorman, it's just dumb, funny entertainment.
Stranger Than Fiction was good because it was much more serious/a different side of Will Ferrell. Talladega Nights was decent as well. Lastly, I thoroughly enjoyed his cameo in Wedding Crashers.
Other than that, movies like Blades of Glory and Semi-Pro just don't do it for me.
Will Ferrell's overrated for sure, but I wouldn't go as far as to say he's an unfunny c*nt.
Farrell is funny. He's a very funny man. But his movies are really nothing more than 2 hour long SNL skits. So, in a skit, he's a very funny guy. In a two hour movie, he becomes base and irritating. There's a reason an SNL skit is 4 or 5 minutes long. Because after that the characters become boring. Much like Jim Carrey.

Can't you say you just don't like his movies without the need for calling him a **** and a bastard? what's the point...
As for Anchorman, I don't get what the deal is either. One of my friends says it is one of the most funny films he has seen ever, and a lot seem to agree with him.
I do like him in some films, one that's been mentioned, Stranger Than Fiction, liked him a lot in this one.
Also, Blades of Glory, Zoolander, Winter Passing, and Melinda and Melinda. Though most of the ones I like are more serious than full on comedy.
That's all really. Last one I watched was Semi-Pro, didn't laugh once in that, terrible movie.
I laugh during Will Ferrell movies mainly because of his face; he makes such wonderful faces.
That scene in Wedding Crashers when he strolls down the stairs? I cry nearly every time.

Will Ferrel's humor is always of the same formula. considering this, it is strange that i sometimes enjoy his movies and am sometimes offended that someone would think i would find such material humorous. WTF is up with that huh?
