I'm just glad this time the gun was pointed at someone who deserved it. Thank god this family had this gun...otherwise they'd of most likely ended up dead.
Just goes to show in the right situation a gun can definitely help.

That is an older picture of when he was taken to jail. He escaped and took this family hostage. The family shot and killed him.

Yep and the family most definitely would be dead and this guy living in their house or something if they didn't happen to own a gun.

It just feels nice to have the media actually reporting on a situation where a gun helped. It usually doesn't fit the narrative they want to tell.

I have to wonder though if some people will still find reason to complain. Since if you read the article..the wife got the gun and shot the guy. Then she released her husband who had been tied up..and then the hubby took the gun and pumped even more bullets into the guy and killed him.
Which honestly I have zero problem with.

That's for the courts to decide if it even goes to trial which I doubt, but the criminal had already stabbed the husband so fearing for his life and the life of his family is within reason. I can't see the police and DA pursuing excessive use of force against the husband.
Someone should email this story to Hilary. I know how she loves her email.

All it really shows is..and I know this might shock people, but all it shows is that guns are not sentient and what matters is the person holding them. In the wrong hands they can kill innocents and in the right hands? They can kill people who deserve it and save the lives of you and your family.
Sort of like in the same way a school shooting doesn't automatically show all guns are evil.

Yeah, that's why there should be extensive regulation to keep legal arms out of unqualified or malicious people's hands. And particularly dangerous weapons out of private use.
