You don't think he could take Khan? Wasn't he fighting the robots in h2h on even ground? Thats a bigger feat than anything Khan has IMO. Especially since Khan lost to Spock.

I think he makes it to at least round 4. I can't remember Marv well enough to comment though.

I think he should be able to take Widow though. Rough fight, and he works for it, but that arm of his isn't something she can shrug off. It will rock the hell out of her if not outright KO her if a single hit connect. She on the other hand would have to put out some serious damage since I remember him having some damn good damage soak.

Do the bonus round contestants get their ranged weapons as well? Or just melee stuff?

Also, Coulson has a cooler robot arm. It has an energy replica of Cap's shield that can block small explosions and gunfire, and can be used in inventive ways, such as slicing an LMD's face off. stick out tongue

I was intending this to be pure h2h. If you want to include gear, I'd prefer them to be used as blunt melee weapons only. Like using a rifle as a club, or hitting someone with the blunt side of their sword, etc.
P.S. As for the energy shield face slice, that was pure holy sht. moment.

As for the next episode, I would have preferred that [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Aida be turned to nothing but ash by GR like he does in the movies. Damn that saved up budget was really put to good use in the last 2 eps.

I have to avoid that spoiler tag like the plague, as I still need to watch the latest episode.

You could still comment on Spooner's chances

He should beat Coulson. Phil is supposed to be a really good fighter, but he always looks like he pulls things out of his ass at the last minute during fights.

He probably takes Hobbs too, though it would be a brutal fight. Hobbs has better pure fighting skill, but Spooner has insane damage soak, and the robo arm will hurt Hobbs.

Not sure if he could take Khan. Would be a good fight. He'd have to heavily rely on his robo arm.

He'd lose to Marv IMO.

Bonus rounds: If Widow gets her melee toys (tasers, garrote wire etc.), I can see her putting him down for the count. Pure H2H, he likely wins.

With May, it depends on how angry she is. Bloodlusted May can take on LMDs and win. She'd need to fight cleverly though. Going at him head on would probably end badly, due to the durability and robo arm. But if she can get him in a choke/sleeper, she might be able to pull it off.

Considering that he was able to literally rip off the arms of one of the robots, May attempting pretty much any hold within the range of his metal arm would result her limbs being broken at least.
And an interesting trivia. I was told Will Smith at the time of the I, Robot shoot had jacked himself up enough that he was benching 385 lbs

Well, doesn't change much. [SPOILER - highlight to read]: May didn't do anything of note and, based on the dialogue, Coulson having the Spirit of Vengeance was just a temporary deal. Though, obviously, Ghost Rider Coulson would murder Spooner.

You gotta admit that was one hell of a twist though, and Aida's smile vanishing is kinda my fav scene in AOS now.

And you yet have to comment on Spooner breaking May's bones. Sorry about this doggedness but I like to cover every angle of the fight in a debate.

Well, still iffy IMO. LMDs also had blatant super strength (Aida casually snapped a SHIELD agent's neck with one hand IIRC), yet May was able to play keep away while maintaining an offensive against one. And she has gone toe-to-toe with other enhanced individuals before and done pretty well there too. May is pretty beastly.

Yeah, she was a really smug, unlikable c*** at the end. Seeing her [SPOILER - highlight to read]: get Rider roasted was very satisfying.

Yeah May is one of the top physical combatants in the MCU no question. And LMDs aren't the only superhumans she has taken on - Francis, the Primitives, Akela, Absorbing Man, Kaminsky, Hellfire/James, Daisy/Quake and Eva Belyakov. She even beat Francis and the Primitives straight up. Coulson, Ward, Bobbi and Daisy have similar feats of taking on superhumans and have a considerable repertoire of fighting feats but she got the better of them. Her fights with Ward show she has no problem fighting dirty either. The only ones who owned her was Mace and Lorelai, but the former has shown to be atleast MCU Cap level with feats and the latter is a goddamn Asgardian who can go toe-to-toe with Sif. And her fight with Eva and escape from her torturers in S1 shows that she has considerable damage soak as well. I am not doubting her ability to keep herself in this fight, just saying that if she tries any hold that would get her in reach of Spooner's metal arm and that would end badly for her.

Thinking about that, it makes it hella impressive that Giyera came extremely close to beating her straight up and lost due to overconfidence. Now thinking about that makes Ward's asst. Kebo pretty impressive. Even May couldn't take down Bobbi easily but Kebo owned her like she owed him money. She only won due to her tasers. That makes Werner beating him a few eps before even impressive.
And Daisy's MA skills can be attributed to Ward and May, since they trained her.

Yeah, but I mention the LMDs specifically, because she was legit getting the better of them, whereas she can often put up a good fight against most other superhumans, but generally end up on the losing side, unless she resorts to using some kind of weapon/the environment. But being able to fight them at all is extremely impressive. May can definitely punch well above her supposed weight class. It took me a while to catch up on all her feats, because I only picked up AoS fairly recently, but she is highly underrated by a lot of posters on this board.
