Btw He would have Vader take Maul out in 1 move and claim its pure Art.
Edit- Anyway im happy theyre finally acknowledging the Prequels in a big way. So am kind of indifferent for the time being, and willing to give Kennedy another shot.

Quan youre entitled to your own opinion, but so if Filoni. And he would only have it 1 way- Vader trashing Maul very quickly.
He didnt do that with Vader vs Ashoka because he plays favourites.
Rebels sucked hard tbh. TCW was terrific but Lucas was at the reigns there. If Rebels is an indication of what Filoni is like without Lucas, then hell no. Keep him well away from the films.
Also After Solo flopping chances of Lucasfilm risking $150million on a guy whose never directed live action before is pretty much Nil.

He isn’t going to direct the films he will produce and oversee them all. I don’t care what his opinion is there and I doubt that’d ever happen. We see that he abandoned his Vader vs. Maul duel as he came to his senses.
I still haven’t seen the final season of rebels and while it was worse than clones it had its highlights. I want him at the helm.
I dont know why you believe he wouldnt do that with Maul and Vader after what he did with Maul and Kenobi.
As for overseeing the films, thats an even bigger risk. He has zero experience in movies. And even his animation, where hes supposed to shine, sucked hard without Lucas.
