Transgender women tend to have brain structures that resemble cisgender women, rather than cisgender men. Two sexually dimorphic (differing between men and women) areas of the brain are often compared between men and women. The bed nucleus of the stria terminalus (BSTc) and sexually dimorphic nucleus of transgender women are more similar to those of cisgender woman than to those of cisgender men, suggesting that the general brain structure of these women is in keeping with their gender identity.

Jordan Peterson has nothing against trans people. I've watched hours upon hours of his stuff, and he has never said anything that any rational trans person would find demeaning or offensive. His issue with pronouns has nothing to do with 'male and female brains', lmao. He's on record as saying that if a student came up to him and asked him to refer to them as a different gender, he would. His issue was with it being enforced by law.
In fact, my discovery of Peterson's work was what helped me come to terms with my own gender identity. His Jungian approach appealed to me and inspired me to really engage with that side of my personality and how I could express it.
Also, he's not a 'neuroscientist'. He's a clinical psychologist. You people are so brainwashed and misinformed, it's hilarious. I can't take anything you post seriously.
All good points. You have to recognize certain people here are triggered by Peterson's intelligence and success. This isn't the first thread that has attempted to smear him. I doubt it will be the last.

Oh I know, I remember Robtard going on about him and all he could use for his points were the things that are provable lies about Peterson: the 'enforced monogamy' gibberish, the false transphobia narrative, Peterson being 'alt-right'. To anyone who's watched or read any of Peterson's actual work, it all comes off as intensely stupid, as it's all easily disprovable. But they hate him so much that that doesn't matter. Jordan peterson wasnt concerned about trans people or referring to them by pronouns, he was mad because the canadian government was trying to limit free speech, using a culturally relevant good guy cause to get it passed. The bill effectively makes teaching biology illegal.
The analogy would be like america trying to make unnecessary hate speech laws, me saying the gov. Infringing on free speech in undesirable, then getting attribted for saying actual hateful things.

You can be a neuroscientist without looking through a psychological lens. Sam harris is a neuroscientist by education but philosopher by trade. Him and jordan peterson chatted on equal terms just fine, through all six of their conversations.
