What happened to "social distancing to save lives?"
The same politicians who kept bashing protesters who were protesting coronavirus lockdown because they weren't social distancing are all now apparently ok with people ignoring those same rules:
So, basically, protesters who're ignoring social distancing to protest for causes they claim to agree with is ok.. but not those who're not social distancing who're protesting against the economy being shut down which was starting to cause their families to go hungry.
So, are these rioters who're ignoring social distancing rules in cities across the country also "Covidiots"? Or is it different because... "reasons"?

Oh I know what happened: leftists are hypocritical losers not to be taken seriously

As much as I disagree with the OPs' one sided partisanship, I have the same question. It seems like one crises can be ignored while another more compelling one emerges. One thing for sure is that the media conglomerates are loving it.

Though no doubt if I were a democrat-voter/Trump-hater/Antifa-supporter then you'd have no trouble at all with my "partisanship" would you? Nah, course you wouldn't but go ahead and claim you would so I can get a good laugh.

Antifa is garbage and should be labeled a terrorist group. Just because I dont agree with you all the time doesn't mean we can't agree occasionally. I'm not your enemy.

You’re a joke to everyone on this board, including those that share your mindset because of how cavalier and hateful your rhetoric is.
You’re a pathetic child masquerading as a Republican. If you dare to even call me a leftist your entire political knowledge of others is null and void at this point.
The social distancing shamers did suddenly vanish and the media doesn't seem too concerned either. This is a strange phenomenon.
Sort of like how armed, but peaceful lockdown protesters are bad and got more shit talked about them from the left leaning media than those looting and burning. People melted down cuz Lana Del Rey posted a video that showed the faces of looters. Cuz god forbid they get identified.
I actually think I read some shitty Salon article lamenting the different ways they were treated. In other words: complaining non-violent peaceful protesters were treated differently than actual criminals.

That's because the scary criminals weren't looking for change in is much as they were looking to fill their pockets with loot at the expense of the communities they hijacked.
Also the lockdown protesters were upset over the damage being done to their city via the lockdown. These looters do not seem to give a shit about any damage done to their city.
But meh the people in these places should just keep voting in dems, they'll decry these unaccountable cops as they simultaneously sign off on union contracts for them that make it possible for them to be so hard to hold to account.

The protests turned riots are frustrating to say the least. I have a few anecdotal experiences in the past two days that raise my already heightened suspicions that there are a lot of out of towners in my neighborhood.

Being outside is far safer than not social distancing inside plus they tend to wear masks. You have to sign a waiver to attend an idiotic trump rally where no one will be wearing masks and it will be inside.
But the virus guidelines even had limits on being outside, with gatherings limited to a certain number of people. The protests went over the limit by a large margin.
Democrats just shrugged.
So sorry, you little weasels cried over people going to the beach. You will not shrug this off with "they were outside".
