This is an interesting thread. Non-jobbing Reed has some great piercing and slashing resistance/immunity feats. He's also restrained people as strong as or stronger than Ares. What's stopping Reed from suffocating Ares for the win?

Mr. Fantastic is fairly indestructible. Ares would have to superimpose the Ax onto dampened mass and strike with primordial assault.
I think Ares would know best how to defeat someone.
