So here we are. We could say based on feats and their battles, that billy is one of the few equals to superman's strength and speed. What do you think? Is this one of the closest battles? Who would win? Post Crisis, New 52 and Rebirth feats allowed.
Outside of the ol' Fawcett comics Billy best feats are stalemating Superman, the magic factor is what helped him in those battles, Clark has better and far more feats.
Besides this thread has been done about a 100 times already.

Well you specified in your opinion that the fight is based off of their feats and their other battles,Cap has no feats that equals Supes and it's Suoes vulnerability magic that has given Billy an edge in some of their fights
billy has been called a sm equal in strength. And hasn't he been shown to match clark in strength in a fight? I had the impression that he did. If so, a fight without magic involved could still go either way could it not? Was it kingdom come that showed them as equal in raw strengtyh but billy was faster? Maybe there is other post crisis fight i'm missing. I don't know if there is any fight from new 52 and onwards where billy was shown as equal to sm in raw strength, but i would like to know other people's opinion and learn more about this. Which is why i included post crisis, new 52 and rebirth.
I guess he doesn't have many feats of his own. But i would assume that being called an equal and shown to match sm in strength, could be enough to say this can go either way. although maybe other people won't agree. But again, i'm here to learn more and see what peope think.
He rarely ever does, but Superman is different than the other heroes. The very plot is wrapped around him saving the day. Shazam just doesn’t represent DC the way that Superman does.
Let’s be honest, if Billy fought Doomsday, how would he do?
