She is vulnerable to lightning / electricity. She can try to absorb it but it overloads her very quickly.

In the page before that, she shows how her powers are out of whack:

Storm, easily.

She easily beat Vulcan...TWICE.

He is a much greater energy manipulator than Jenny.

It will come down to a battle of willpower over the element of electromagnetism/electricity and I think storm wins that.

There was actually nothing wrong with her powers per se, she was just having psychological issues (an identity crisis of sorts). Since her powers reflect her mental state she therefore had trouble controlling her powers, too. This storyline eventually triggered her transition to her mohawk identity.

But her powers were the exact same powers she usually has. She does not have natural immunity to electricity.

Yeah, I guess I'm saying that the scan isn't the best to use when A: her powers are tied to her mental state and B: she's mentally compromised.

Especially as she does things like this:

Storm these days has been verging on Mary Sue territory, including owning omega-level energy manipulators like Vulcan as TGATES mentioned...

I'd say the way she's currently written, she'd probably win easily.

Didn't Storm no sell Vulcan nuking the battlefield?

I think her glass cannon days are in the past.

Is the hammer standard gear now? I feel like she has it a lot these days. Or maybe that's just a Thor run

Just out of curiosity. Assume someone made a thread about Captain America vs. The Guy Who Shot Uncle Ben. And someone else asked:

"Can Cap even be shot? It seems.....weird."

What would you answer to that person?

I'd ask them why they think Cap is immune to bullets. Does he channel bullets through his body, for example?

Does he have the ability to traverse space cocooning himself in bullets (or a single giant bullet)?

Because if Cap does indeed have such showings, then ...I too would wonder if bullets would affect such a bullet manipulator.

But, given his showings, you would agree that if a bullet were to hit his body he would get shot?

Edit. My point is this: If someone can bypass Cap's shield then bullets will affect him. Similarly, if someone can bypass or overcome Storm's lightning manipulation they CAN affect Storm's body with electricity/lightning.

And in such a scenario, my answer would be: "Yes, bullets can affect Cap. Yes, electricity can affect Storm."

But that's his shield. I am talking about Cap attracting bullets to him, channelling it through his body, and then firing said bullets at people.

Storm does this with lightning. She doesn't just block it with a forcefield or anything. She manipulates energy, Cap merely uses his shield to block bullets.

Cap isn't to bullets what Storm is to electricity. Cap doesn't... sheathe his body in bullets to fly through space, or cover his hand in bullets to punch people. lol.

The way she's been written the past decade, seems more like asking if Human Torch could even be burned.

Even back in the day, she just...shot lightning out of her hands:

If Magnon is asking if she can be hit with electricity...I mean, sure, yes she can be hit with it.

But my question was more whether it would actually put her down or affect her. Like, Pyro could shoot fire at the Human Torch, sure - it wouldn't actually hurt him, though.

Anyone could throw a steel rebar at Colossus, or shoot a water gun at Hydro Man, and yes, it would hit them...but it wouldn't do anything to them.
