It was random well nothing is really random with thanos is it's hard to gauge what is prep tech and what is not

Just because he went there to talk that doesn't mean he prepped himself to battle Galactus. Unless you have proof to that effect then you must concede.

Thanos can erect shields, whether they be tech or energy based shields.

Considering his ship was blown to pieces in the Galactus instance? Do not see how he could prep for the shield...

Did he in the Omega instance?

You can say he prepped, but without proof... seems meaningless.

He can create the Galactus shield or any other shield unless you have evidence to suggest he needed prep to use any such shield in any instance you want to question.

The drax incident totally contradicts the theory that his personal shields don't go all the way around them. So, right there they were saying the writer made a mistake and want to throw it out. Sorry it's canon and clearly he can have personal shielding all around him.

When it's something that happens once and is totally against all other instances then the writer effed up.

We saw a scan of Drax opening up an energy shield on his backside......how the hell was that a mistake?
