We're all fans in here, unless they're one of those jackasses that got lost going to the HP forum and thought that they used HP space for LotR. Stupid people.

It's not bad to be "that" obsessed with Orlando/Legolas or any other characters. You can't help it if you do. It's just that you have to control your obsession in other threads. You want to talk about Orlando/Legolas? Go to the thread dedicated to him. It just irks the hell out of some posters here if there's a certain obsessed member who does nothing but to prance around every thread just to say how much she loves Legolas and how hot he is even though it's completely out of topic and does not contribute to the thread. That's the annoying part. However, if you could control your hots and obsession for him and you could at least provide some decent conversations with the others without resorting to another drooling contest, then there should be no problem. kelita 33, I'm not referring to you specifically, because I admit I don't know you that much to judge how you post, I'm talking about the typical drooling fangirls.
And no, you're hardly the only person who cried during ROTK. I did. And almost every others did. Heck, even guys in my theater were bawling like babies.

Werent there several nice threads about crying during RoTK
I didnt cry but I had tears in my eyes when the Rohirrim arrived at Pelennor and Théoden had his speech... it was just so... overwhelming... you thought you were there, amid all these riders, and that this was the last thing you'd do in your life before you are killed by some orc or Mûmak....

If a movie can make everyone that sees it get emotional like that, then its got to be one hell of a movie. Its not only great story wise, but even camera work and all that great stuff. Im in film study so i study all this kind of crap so people get even more annoyed of me when not only am i crying about lotr, but im also pointing out good camera techniques and stuff. But yah, i was trying to hold in my tears the entire time, cause it was so emotional, when the ring was destroyed, there was a little tear, then the fellowship reunited, a little crying, aragorn and arwen together, crying, all them bowing to the hobbits, sobbing like an idiot, when frodo leaves, bawling, the credits, crying for just pure joy. All my friends thought i was phyco, but its all good. About the fan girls, i went around my school with a sign on my backpack that said "Legolas Died!" and told everyone i could that he died. I pissed so many girls off, but if they had actually took time to read the book they would know better, and maybe even aprechiate the story enough to not go to the bathroom or get popcorn when there wasnt a close up of orlando. Pissing off fan girls is fun. Dont worry im NOT one, i actually have reasoning for being in love with orlando bloom. But people just dont get it, lotr and the actors are two seperate things that happen to overlap in the middle. Lotr first, obsessions with stars latter!
Orli lover means no Orli obsessing, for you should not worship Orli 24/7

I actually did that too. In the line at the cinema, I ran into some acquaintance who are Legolas fangirls and never read the book. I told them, "They all die. Especially Legolas. He dies a horrible, painful death." You should have seen their faces.

You should have done it!! LOL..too late..no more LOTR movie coming up...
It must have been hard for them. LOL....they really believed me..imagining sitting there and watching the movie for 3 and a half hours waiting for Legolas' death. I didn't see them outside the cinema when the movie finished though. I didn't see thier reaction anymore when they knew it was a lie.
