Do You Think Anime Is Taking Over Saturday Morning Cartoon Shows?

I liked the old days. Power Rangers and Spider-Man. Until Yi-Gi-Oh and the rest of his wide-eyed friends took them over.

I agree that they are taking over all the cartoons, but that's not a bad thing. I like it.

For me i dont really take much notice of whats on in the morning on satuday i prefer to sleep in..............sleep

But there arn't that meny anime on tv at all most is on the big cheeze or cheeze tv unless you have anime network which is something you have to pay for... most stuff on tv is shows i cant be bothered watching or film clips on songs like rave or vidio hits.

uhh not sure if this has been asked before or not but if you all approve of this then why does everyone b*tch and moan about how badly their favorite anime is being ripped apart(i.e. one piece, mew mew power,etc.)

but other than that i don't really have anything to say other than that the people in charge of this are just airing what statistically best. they air it because its popular.

Welli'd say the best American cartoons played in the 90's, now all they play is boring cartoonsI don't think Anime is taking over TV it's just better than American and I personally would rather have Anime take over my tv.

I'd rather watch anime over any other new cartoons anyway. The only decent new cartoon that came on was canceled really fast. C'mon Invader Zim was genuis. Anyway, you wanna trace the root of all of this, go back in the day to the Fox Family channel when they had three full hours of anime on. But, those wore the good 'ol days of Monster Rancher and the first season of Digimon.

My only problem is that the ideas are stupid, like Beyblade and all that crap, and they all looks the same. Theres always some idiot with stupid hair saving the day. Yawn.

Not all Saturday Morning Anime series are suscesfull. There was Monster Ranch which was popular but faded away. Then there was fighting Foodons which was very cheesy but charming. Food dishes fighting each other was quite comical. 😂

I have to admit that anime taking over is not super good, but its not bad either. It just turnes out that these cartoons are more intresting and have better animation then the American cartoons, no naturally the better of the two will win.

I would prefer stuff like Trigun over pokemon.

I am more a manga fan though. Manga has everything you need. Anime is mostly children's cartoons. (mostly not always)

well ive noticed that cartoon networks adult swim is bieng taken by anime too.but theres still alot of american ones.There in the process.
