I dunno what it is with you people and these "My Space" stereotypes. They're actually pretty ****in' prejudice sounding.

Case in point.

I'm 27, I graduated at 18, and I moved away from home when I was 21 to MN. I left behind a LOT of friends, most of which I have totally lost contact with unfortunately. Since I got onto MySpace.com about 5 months ago, I was able to hook up with kids in my GRADUATING CLASS OF 1997, which I NEVER thought was possible. The only way of keeping in touch was through Classmates.com before that, which was a pathetic "pay site", where alls you could do is enter your name, not even an e-mail.

Anycrap, I use MySpace, and can keep up with my select old friends that are 1,200 miles away. So, before anyone makes any more of these stupid, blanketed statements and assumptions, know that there are people that use the site legitimately, don't need an "ego boost" or any of that shit, and aren't "gay" or "emo". There are exceptions, like, people that use it for what it was intended.

..and to be perfectly honest, kmcdude, you, sir, are thee absolute LAST person to be passing judgment on people in regards to being an attention whore. Weither your existence here at KMC is a gimmick or not, you're right on up there with the people you're apparently getting your licks in on.

No, it's one of those 'friendship networks,' I just use it to keep track of people I don't normally see these days...or people I see everytime I go outside...

Just curious.

How is it called keeping in touch, and what' the point of classmates.com if all you can do is enter your name.
I don't get it.

And if you go to college, you could go to facebook.com and keep in touch with your other friends that go to college.

Took me a while and a couple of nagging people but I eventually joined facebook. I didn't really feel the need to keep in touch with anybody cause I didn't want to, but I decided to see what it was about because I was curious.

I still consider myself a loner though. I don't really call them my friends, I call them my associates.

How isn't it keeping in touch when you can mail/message people daily and directly? Classmates.com is just a place to register where you went to school, and if you want other alumnus info, pay for it.

MySpace is perfect for me. I've got a few people I want to stay in contact with, and that's how I do it.

Ah myspace.com, the best legal, non-pornographic voyeristic website on the net! Browing annonymously through the profiles of little sluts who show their bare back or are topless covering their breasts with their arms is ALWAYS fun, perfect foreplay to pornography.

I wouldn't be smiling if I were you.

Is it comprehensible.....
