That list seems incredibly unlikely, and is rather unscientific in it's data gathering as well. I think they ended up with numbers that tell us very little, if anything. Though they say themselves that the Volleyball claim is outlandish, and the Basketball thing very likely wrong.

basketball, in southeast asia alone thr s two (2) govrning bodies SEABA and ABL, in all asia ABA Club and FIBA Asia, in the midle east Gulf club, in europe Eurobasket and Fiba europe, in america FIBA americas, in africa FIBA africa, Fiba world and etc.
