Well Playing Devils advocate, Cage in his own series from the early 90's also went toe to toe with the Hulk and Rhino for that matter, I even recall him vs Wonderman.
Well him and Hulk had the old hero's fight each other realise there is a big bad and team up.
He beat Rhino (but hey who hasn't) and in the Wonderman fight, Wonderman was with the rest of the WCA and they fought until they realised Cage wasn't the enemy and yup, teamed up.
I remember reading the Hulk fight at the time and thinking "wtf" I was and still am a Cage fan but him holding his own against the Hulk...
Samson should win on paper the only thing Cage has over him is that hes the better brawler and Samson leads with his face a lot.
With due resptect to the Hulk that was a cheap shot. Doc don't have the skills to put down Cage. Cage has better durabilty and better skills. I'm not saying Doc cannot beat Cage but....Cage does have a win over Doc.
BTW here is Doc leading with his face again.

Doc burrows his way through the floor beneath the fascility and travels MILES underground (burrowing) at a considerable speed, cause he caught up to a speeding Truck that housed the Hulk.
I dunno. I think I might have to give it to Luke on this one. he's a far better fighter, in my my opinion. And he's still strong enough to lay some good damage on Samson. Of course then there's Cage's durability as well.
Hell Cage went up against Wonder Man before his upgrade his fighting. He lost the fight but his fighting skills stopped him from getting curbstomped.
Like what.
Why? Before his upgrade his has gone up against Wonder Man and the Thing. With his upgrade he should be able to win this. Note eventhough he can only lift 25 tons the hardness of his skin makes him punch harder than people of equivalent strength, Luke also has more experience and fighting skills than Doc. All Doc really has is pure strength. Luke wins 7/10.
If you read the scans. Doc Samson states that Wonder Man has been fighting the Hulk (mindless Hulk as well) and therefore would be not at peak potential, this could aplly to the others.
These scans jut show Doc getting rushed. The bit where Samson sends them flying is because the others were distracted. If you read the scans they start looking at the Hulk and not concentrating on Samson.
What stalemate?
