Second, that gun that the T-800 used on the T-1000 was a grenade launcher. That is not a bullet. And it wouldn't have killed him but your right it would have taken him a long time to reform and recover. It did **** him up pretty badly. But again that was a grenade not a bullet and to my knowledge ED-209 doesn't pack grenades.
