Well, you can play many games using WINE and if you really feel like it you can use a virtual machine running windows. So, yeah, if you are a hardcore gamer and always want to play the newest games on PC (a breed that seems to diminish), then it is not necessarily for you. For everyone else it can easily be an option to consider though.

Running a game in a virtual PC? Try that with COD4 or any demanding resource hungry video game...

I have a better solution: Windows. Or if you like Macs dual boot with Windows. (If it has Intel Chip)

I can run pretty much any game on a virtual drive on my pc (including COD4). If you can't, try getting a better pc.
