Thats still better than Cables no contest against SS. Anyone its funny how this deviated into annihlus. My opinion is that nova would defeat cable but for each of them we basically have one fight to judge this match on.
Because you tried to use Nova beating Annihilus as a show of his power, but Annihilus was weakened from Galactus blast and w/o the use of the quantum bands when this happened.
Well lets over look, that fact that he was worn out and multitasking. And shift, to a better comparison. Cable dealt with Mr. Sinister and the Marauders swiftly. Let alone Six Pack and the X-Men.
Nova struggled with 4 members of the Thunderbolts.
Thats the problem though. How do you judge what annihlus lost and what cable lost in battle (personal opinion) They both fought a top tier and the result varies under different circumstances.
What happen with cable- How exactly do you judge what he could have done when hes up against a character like SS, a person who tends to use the least amount of power possible to avoid killing his apponent.
Annihlus has already.
Cables wasn't impressive either. SS owned him completely and barely without contest except for his board broken which he fixed easily after the battle.
SS has performed tasks that are ridiculous and wasn't even drained. If that alone exhausted cable, I wager him at full power would have suffered a similar result to what had happened.
Silver Surfer is not human. He don have trouble with fatigue, toxins, he can stay longer.
Still, if they were both fresh, it could be a great battle. I really doubt SS would make it easy like that. Silver Surfer still has the durability advantage. If Cable would want to win, he should go immediately all out and to finish Silver Surfer quickly. Maybe his full telekinetic power could do some serious damage to Silver Surfer.
Cable Vs Silver Surfer in Cable & Deadpool. Can't really judge Cable by that fight, because Cable was already significantly exhausted of using his power through series, but was still powerful.
Then in the fight with SS, he was repairing everything around them what they destroyed, he was holding up his enormous space station, also using his telepathy to talk with SS, being liked to entire world population and never wanted to fight Silver Surfer (but still managed to break his board). Silver Surfer also wasn't going all out, but only had one goal, to stop Cable.
Cable should win against Nova.

And yet SS has performed task’s that have left him drained.
You have to understand why Cable was overworked prior to SS encounter. It was not just piggy back ridding Providence, and the world level telepathy 24/7. And it happens to take place prior to Shield and X-Men’s assault.
He rerouted to flood half the Sahara.
Kicked loggers out of the rain forest.
Soothing the pain of every dying person.
Stopping the White blood count deterioration of every Aids victim in Africa.
Straitening the Leaning Tower of Pisa
On the daily biases he: stopped 14 individual acts of terrorism, 1100 attempts of murder, 7 thousand car accidents.
