from what i hear (and now see), Black adam and Captain Marvel had true invulnerability. something similar to Juggernaut. Nothing could hurt them.

and not All-New Collectors' Edition published in May 1978:

which is his FIRST meeting w/Superman.

yeh prime isnt the ful strength of pre crisis superman. Prime hasnt been seen sneezing away planets and such other feats

but thats only cuz we havent seen him exercise a *need* to do that, not due to him being unable to do so.

PC SM would "maybe" kill current BA
PC SM was unable to even phase PC BA with "his best blow" as the scan prep man showed

Nice job. I think BA also fought him somewhere around JLA 140. Although...that might've been against Captain Marvel, now that I think about it. Anywho, PC Supes lost his fights with PC BA, definitely. But I think its clear that he could trade blows with him. DC Presents makes that pretty evident. So I don't think Current BA, who is weaker than his PC days, is going to be able to overcome PC Supes more often than not. Even with his vulnerability to magic.

PC Supes wins 7/10 IMO.

Oh! Also, PC BA wasn't invulnerable in the sense some people take it. He was still invulnerable in the way PC Supes was invulnerable, yeah...His 'true invulnerability' days happened during his Fawcett run. After DC purchased him, they did away with that. Still kept it with Shazam, though. Mxy even gives a portion of that invulnerability field to Krull(?) which allows him to effortlessly tank PC Supes' blows without flinching.

BA = magical in nature. thus, there's no reason to assume he'd be incapable of owning pre-crisis superman as easily as grundy did, via magic-emitting punches:

PC-BA wasn't using magic blows like we know he is capable (coudl he do this back then) but rather physical strength when striking SM
