That's the point. Galactus absorbed all of Hyperstorm's energies, and it didn't last an eternity.
*sighs*
a.) There is no proof that he absorbed 'all' of Hyperstorm's energies. That instance was likely dismissed by the staff of Marvel immediately after it happened, because Galactus' purpose as a character would be completely defeated if his hunger could be sated simply by continuously absorbing power from Hyperstorm.
b.) IF Galactus did absorb 'all' of Hyperstorm's power, then it was never infinite to begin with.

A more plausible explanation imo, would be that Hyperstorm body simply couldn't handle the continued stress of Galactus using him as a conduit into Hyperspace and as a result Galactus lost his energy supply and had to return, but that is just my thoughts on the matter.
As for the thread, Galactus for the win.

BCA Galactus isn't goin to consume LT
Oh, LT isn't in the thread
I believe a certain Celestial had something to do with Big G getting the munchies in that arc. I also know when Tiamut awoke some 500,000 years later, one of the most powerful beings knew fear
As powerful as Big G is, he's not goin to devour everything

Galactus already contains infinite energy,
we know this because when he was "killed" (or rather when he returned to his natural state)
he became a Star that would radiate energy forever.
(he needs to feed to keep his armor in check ... stable sortaspeak
why he can't do that with the energies inside him is a pis way to keep the character interesting)
When Johnny Storm became Galactus' herald, his awareness expanded,
this allowed Johnny to realize that Galactus contained a cosmos within him.
Galactus recently was said to have no dimensions or boundaries. (again signifying infinity)
During Annihilation, Galactus was being used to obliterate the 616 Reality,
in addition to the Negative Zone, which just happens to contain the 'Crossroads to Infinity',
which is a freakin infinite Nexus to all realities connected to the prime Multiverse.
Galactus could've fed on Hyperspace for all eternity,
but he disconnected when the Hyperstorm threat was gone.
Lastly, let's not forget friends,
Galan became Galactus by merging with GOD! (the Infinity Being)
*** This is why the BCA feat is not surprising,
because it is well within Galactus' makeup to be capable of such grandeur when putting his historical characterization into perspective.
Taimut NEVER augmented Galactus' power (that claim is false)
Taimut only tampered with Galactus' ability to stop himself from feeding,
nothing more, this made Galactus an insatiable absorption machine,
but the capacity necessary to absorb all that space-time is Galactus' own ability.
This is why during the 'Last Galactus Story' (a possible future)
... Byrne had Galactus destroying the entire Marvelverse while killing Ecce,
then Galactus used the energy within him to re-create the Marvelverse again.
Anyhow,
BCA Galactus absorbs Eternity as easily as he was eating all space-time in the story.

all abstracts have infinit energy really, even odin and thanos have infinit energy, that doesnt mean they have infinit power it just means they can radiate energy forever(like if they did a powerblast they can sustain it for ever) with out running out of power...

A being with 'infinite energy' would not need to continuously feed in order to maintain his energy stores.
Other then that, I agree with ya.

Marvel just needs to write him to his potential. Sadly, that's not the case
He's one of the most powerful beings ever. Hence, one
Great points made all around friends

Galactus stomps with ease. Eternity = multi-verse, while Galactus was eating ALL reality.
