Plot Induced Stupidity.

It's when an immensely more powerful character will job to carry on the plot of the story. Like Spider-man beating Firelord. It can be applied to objects as well. For example, Spider-man lifting a multistory skyscraper is consider PIS since the majority of his history clearly show that he shouldn't be capable of doing things like that. Mentioning of PIS is not allowed according to forum rules.
