I think having some forms of problems can be very frustrating...especially for a person that wants to improve their situation. I also do not like people that try to blame being a complete ***hole on a mental disability that they do not have.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: I had no idea that CBT stood for cognitive behavioral therapy until now. I thought it stood for "computer based training."
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: I was thinking of a similarly achronymed BDSM practice. In fact since I knew of that first I always kind of giggle under my breath when it comes up in a psych class.

Oh yeah, autism is the worst. My older brother is autistic, and lemme tell you, trying to take care of a man with the body of a 30 year old in top physical shape, but the mind of a five year old, is no ****ing cake walk.

No I don't work in the mental healh field. I used to work in the medical field.
The people I'm talking about I knew personally and they were very compulsive in their thoughts. They couldn't let a thought go. They just had to know and it didn't matter how they got information to satisfy themselves. They would follow you and tell you where you were, they would try to find out anything about you when you try to tell them to stay out of your business. They had to know!! They wouldn't let it go.

Fair enough, you just made it look like in your first post that all people who have OCD are like that. Those people you are on about sound like they obviously had other troubles too.
LOL, you're right not everyone is the same. Living with one of them now, I understand keeping things in order thing, everything facing the front, equal spacing between things, no crumbs, drops of any kinds on the shower walls when done taking a shower, keeping the toilet paper 4 sheets down and certain things like that. I have to do these things in order to keep the peace.
But I understand not everyone is the same.

Nah, I was a home health care aid. I was around many people with many kinds of issues whether medical or more psychological. I liked that job. I was and still am taking medical Nursing classes. This was after my law classes, which I do have a degree in.
Sooooooooo there! lol
