Yay. Death and war are so awesome. Go western world.

Yeah cos uuuhhh...That's the source of all wars eh?
I'm also guessing that seeing as a lot of what has being discussed was people who fought against Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan in WW2 that you'd rather the west didn't get involved in those conflicts?
I don't think war is something to be celebrated or approved of.

I'm trying to be a trendy lefty by stereotyping and generalising an entire section of the earth, it's hip.

recognizing the abilities of a soldier, or even respecting them, really isn't the same as saying "war is good"
I see nothing positive about the Olympic games, but I respect that these are the top athletes in the world, and will celebrate epic accomplishments therein.
I suppose, but Olympic accomplishments are different than killing 30 people accomplishments.
I just can't respect something like that.

in what way? this isn't a serial murderer we are talking about here, this person didn't initiate the war, he is simply good at combat, yet because you don't agree with war, you don't think it is worth pointing out their skill.
this is quite literally the same as me saying michael phelps is an unimpressive swimmer because the Olympics are a thinly veiled excuse for racism and nationalism.
what would you have found more respectable? if the man was a poor soldier? if he refused to fight and endangered his unit? it seems like you are being harsh on an individual for the choices of their state.... which is cool, but would be exactly like me saying michael phelps is a bad swimmer because America sucks.
