Thats is so damn cool. I could even see it animated , except instead of a portal they would just go so fast they would become a blur before a huge clash of thunder came , with a fading cry of 'I'm going to be superman' slowly echoing out , leaving kid flash standing their panting after his brush with the speedforce...
I'm big into the tortured hero/tragic hero/anti-hero sort of thing. It's why I'm a huge fan of characters like Venom, Ghost-Rider, The Punisher, and even Galactus and Silver Surfer fit into those categories in their own right. Superboy Prime is someone who I can look past the immense power, considering I'm a fan of the Heralds of Galactus, save Terrax. But yeah, he's an awesome character. Who's the guy who wrote him so well, and what has he written in the past?
Anti-Monitor is controlling Alex Luther and manipulating superboy prime at the sametime, remember Anti-Monitor was created from anti-matter and alex controls all forms of energy even anti-matter. Look at superboy prime, bet you 10$ that anti-monitor is controlling his body because he looks to evil.
Part of what the Crisis is about, is Kal El having been playing as the typically 'tragic hero' since his death. [Apperently, when 'everything went wrong'.] And him needing to stop that, and start acting like a ****ing Superman.

i so want SBP to be featured more prominetly, you see the thing with him is his powers are so unfettered that even when he was trying to hold back he was still punching ppls heads and torso off..effectivley saying look what you made me do while he was doing it. i give him props cuz even E-1 superman for all his might still kept his power in check when it came to handling things delicatley, but damnn. when the time comes when DC makes him a bad guy[tho it will quite likely be temporary]......possibly in the one year later series, i hope they will exploit him fully, b4 they make him come to his senses
Yea', Batman's a dick. But that's going to change too, because of Superboy's retcon punch on Jason Todd. See, his failure with Jason Todd is what turned Batman into a dick.
