Blob could just...you know...move out of the way. confused

He does have athlete-level speed and agility.

Aaaaaaand no. Thing is not going to be moving Blob anywhere if Blob doesn't want to move.

First, your FACE is stupid.

Second, you're probably not seeing it like I am. Thing and Blob are standing about 25 ft. apart, let's say. Along a city street in Manhattan or whatever.

Blob: Hur hur hur! Nobody moves THA BLOB!

Thing:...Where did you find boots that big? Can I get a number?

*Thing punches the ground, creating a chain-fissure that breaks open the street in a straight line right under Blob*

Blob: !?

*The ground breaks wide open under his feet and Blob topples below amidst a shower of rubble. He's unmovable, alright--except where gravity is concerned.*

Blob: You hax!

Ben: I wish that Quesada would change his friggin' policy on smokin' in comics already. I'm dyin' for a Red Chief, here.

Winner: Thing.

That's how I'd write it, anyway. And it would totally fly. And if Blob could do anything about that, he wouldn't be a 5th-rate henchman baddy, honestly, so please don't cite ObscureMen #185 where Blob clears ten hurdles and sets an olympic record. I know everybody's got their fans, but come on already.

You must not read many comics.

I read plenty of comics, but yet your 'fight' still lacks sense.

Ben would, with superior speed and skill, get in a lot of punches, and as Blob is not EXTREMELY durable to the head, where Thing specifies in hitting, thats what decides the fight. It will take some time, through, but Thing 10 out of 10 fights, there is no arguments against that

Sorry, man. Gonna have to disagree.

Skill is Ben's, definitely. Speed? HIGHLY debatable. Blob's got some surprising speed AND agility feats, despite his size. Plus, I'd say it's safe to assume that Blob's even more durable than Thing. Hell, he's NEARLY as strong as Thing, too, Blob being class 75, with Ben being class 100.

I'm not really sure who wins, but it won't be a 10/10 for either opponent, that's for sure. Hell, could just be a stalemate.

Metalmanx, you are by far the best debator i have seen here on KMC so far, but you suffers the same thing everyone else on KMC does... Because two characters are pretty even dopesnt mean the other one wont win 10/10. Ben is far superior in skill, and i can see them fight pretty even fights, but i can NEVER see blob knock Thing out. Think you gets my pointwink

Actually, I've been thinking as to how Blob could knock Ben out. And it's entirely plausible, too.

With his surprising speed and agility, Blob jumps into the air, over Ben, and drops on top of him. And not just drops, but VASTLY increases his gravitational force with the Earth as he does so. This would not only drop him faster, but MUCH harder on top of Ben. And then, while he's on top of Ben, he just continues to exert a strong, possibly an increasing, gravitational force, potentially crushing the life out of Ben. At LEAST for a KO.

It's entirely possible.

And thanks for the compliment, by the way. I really appreciate it. You're not so bad yourself so far from what little I've seen of you (I assume you're just new, haha).

Thanks, no problemwink

But that trick would only work at Thing once. Then its a 9/10. Blob is not the smartest, while Thing is pretty clever.

I wasn't aware that the fighters retained the memories of the previous bouts out of ten fights. I thought it was just how each fight would play out, but not given any information from prior hypothetical (KMC) fights.

Did that make sense? Cuz I might've just confused myself.

Of course, it's entirely possible that could happen. Eh, I guess you could look at it both ways.

Anyway, why do you think that move would only work once? I mean, he doesn't necessarily have to pull it off the same way. The main point is that Blob somehow gets on top of Thing and uses his mutant power to crush him.

Thing is a quick learner. And because he has to jump up in the air, and its pretty easy to avoid. At best, it would work twice.

Thing is not winning 10/10. He might get 7 out of 10 though and still those will not be easy wins either.

I was assuming this was while he was locking himself to the ground.

Collosus ripped Blob off the ground. I think Ben has a shot.

If I recall correctly, I don't believe Colossus has ever moved/lifted Blob on his own without any outside assistance.

I think once was with Wolverine's help. And by help, I mean using Wolverine as a fulcrum for a lever. stick out tongue

However, Colossus was still a teenager back then. Who's to say what he can do now.
