What about Spain and Basques? Why nobody is interested that Basques do not have a land of their own. Or American Indians or Mexican Indians? There are native people in Northern Europe too without land - the Saami people. And Eskimos don't have land. The Russia is a combination of tens of different nations put to one. It is pure politics that people are speaking so much about middle east and religion too.

they have land, they even have their own parliament, truth is that the majority sees that they would never be self sufficient being a soveriegn country it simply wouldnt work so now they accept being a nation within the nation.
And by the way we in western Norway are just as much Natives to this country as the Saamii are, actually we (Norwegians) have been here and settled here longer than them, it was they Saami who settled in an already settled territory. But small clans and groups of settlements gathered to form what is now countries.
For the Natives of the Americas it is a bit different though

the comparising between Scandinavian so called Natives and American Natives was made to show the difference between the parts. The difference being that as far as we know the ancestors of todays American Natives was the ones who settled the American continent whereas the Natives called Saamii or Laps settled an area used by people who lived by the edge of the retracting glaciers.
As a little curiosity note, both the Native Americans and Laps/Saamii is believed to have emigrated from much of the the same area of Asia though...............
