So, which animes series COULD be adapted into a live-action movie?

Gah I swear. I love the whole Dragonball series and every from of it but sheesh seriously..why live action..whhhyy....If they would have just went with CGI movie or something take the Advent Children route..please T_T

I was thinking Bastard!! if they just made it all pervy and didn't take it too seriously but they made sure to show Dark Schneider's power and such I don't think it would be all that hard XD. Sure it might be more of a comedy though but hey

then again..it probably would be a porn instead of a live action movie ;/........but still it has to count for something right ^_^;?

oh and Baki the Grappler or Fighting Spirit might work?

I agree with eman5805, any action film that could only be achieved in animation would look second-to in live action.
Slice of life animes work, comedy, (Cromartie Highschool's Live action was totally wicked)

A nice short anime would be ideal obviously. Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, those are the big ones that come to mind right now.

I know Tobey Mcguire is starring in a robotech live action film.

But TWO things to look forward to are the c.g.i Astro Boy and Gatchaman movies coming out.

na the anime has absolutly nothing to do with the comic. and the movie is based on the comic so it has nothing to do besides a guantlet that does somthing completly different

there would have to be some serious wardrobe changes if they wanted to show that movie with less than a triple x rating.
