This movie was awsome i saw it today.Brians first car the Nissan Skyline was so kool wit its blue neon light and his Mitsubishi Evo was kool too. i would give this movie a 10 out of 10
Just got back from seing the advanced screening here in the UK. and it was definitely worth every bit of the over priced £4 ticket.
Your dont need to have seen the first to understand and enjoy the second. But if you havent seen the first - Go rent it!
The movie itself is a nice blend of action and action!! Compared to the first, it's a lot more fun and humorous.
Tyrese (Roman Pearce) shows his potential as a future leading bad boy with a dislike for authority. Paul Walker's character (Brian O'Connor) is a lot more laid back and likable and we get to find out a bit more about him as a person and his past. The onscreen banter between the two is amusing and the chemistry between them has the potential to lead to a third installment (but that depends on how successfull this movie is globally). I expected a lot more involvement from Eva Mendes (Monica) and was slightly disappointed between the lack of developement in the relationship between Brain and Monica. Ludacris' role was hyped up but he didn't feature in the movie half as much as i would have liked.
The action scenes were excellent and impressivley enough Paul Walker was involved in every stunt. They were exciting and they looked more vibrant than the first movie, you could clearely tell that the cast had a blast making this movie.
Overall, I would definitely give this movie a second, third and a fourth viewing. I was pleasently surprised that the sequal out shone the first.
It overtook any expectations i took in with me.
