people look at Keanu as Neo, and that's not him. I feel he is underrated, but if u think he's a piece of crap actor, watch him in Constantine in September. I heard he pulled off something great in that movie
Definately. Barry Pepper gets alot of work, but is underappreciated. Movies like "Knockaround Guys" and "We Were Soldiers" are solid.
BTW, whoever said that Steve Buscemi and Johnny Depp are underrated apparently don't have their ear to the cinematic ground. These guys are legendary beyond cult status, and very well respected.
My personal vote however goes to Jason Statham. He's been cast in a couple of Guy Ritchie movies, i.e. "Lock Stock,.." and "Snatch", but he's got his own thing going in "The Transporter", as well as the remake of "The Mean Machine" w/ another outstanding actor in Vinnie Jones.
u ever see Devil's Advocate, The Gift, and once again, Bill and Ted. They are all different parts, and now he's doing a sci fi movie where he gets his butt kikd every second. We'll see if u feel the same way after that movie
I love "The Devil's Advocate" as well as "Sweet November", unfortunately, they are the only two movies that showcase his limited range. I have nothing against him, he's just not as underrated as every sees him to be.
i think he was nominated for best supporting actor for one.. but didnt win.. when really he should of jsut been competeing against himself from other movies lol
Edward Furlong! He played John Connor in T2. He was amazing, considering he had no previous acting experience, and he was only 13. His best performance was probably in American History X. He played Danny, Derek's younger brother. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes sad and violent dramas.

I agree that Jason Statham was great as Turkish in Snatch. I haven't seen his other movies (except the italian job) so i can't really say much but i get the feeling his range would be limited. Very good looking though!
Personally i would say Paul Bettany is underrated. I think he's getting more recognition now but he's a great actor especially as Chaucer. Very funny.
