It's very good. I try to watch it about once a year, and each time I do, there are a few things where I have to go, "that's messed up." - even though I've seen it at least 10 times.

I disagree, sir. The Shining was one of the few films that genuinely terrified me. The book, while not on par with Kubrick's version, is brilliantly written.
